Econ 122 final and course grade distribution

Here are the descriptive statistics for the final exam.

Average: 25.98 out of 40 (64.9%)
Median: 26 (62.9%)
Standard Deviation: 4.94 (12.3%)

I did not come up with a grade distribution since it is pretty irrelevant since the distribution of overall course scores is the only one that really matters.

Here are the descriptive statistics for the course out of 100 points:

Average: 77.36 out of 100
Median: 77.75
Standard deviation: 9.55

This is a nice overall distribution. I like the standard deviation. The average was kind of low but that just means the tests were difficult. Here is the scale used to determine final grades. (The number of grades falling into that range, once adjusted for extra credit, is in parentheses preceding the letter grade.)

(14) A: 85 +
(15) B: 77 – 84.9999
(16) C: 67 – 76.9999
(2) D: 55 - 66.9999
(3) F: below 55
