Attn: Tuesday-Thursday Class (missed day)

Hi all.

I'm so sorry I was unable to inform you in advance that I was unable to attend class on Thursday, January 24. I was terribly ill and was not in a frame of mind to do much of anything.

If you notice from the syllabus that you should have an article review assignment due on January 31. However I was unable to get that assignment to you on Thursday. Since I want to allocate adequate time to it and not have it conflict with a test in a few weeks, I think I will delay that assignment until about a week after your first test.

Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience of Thursday. I don't like to miss class. Although it is always nice to have a day off, every class is valuable. I appear to be on the mend. I hope to see you all on Tuesday.

Welcome Spring Semester 2008 Students

Welcome back for Spring Semester.

Just so you know: I have two sections of Econ 122 this semester. I am going to do my best to keep both classes at the same pace. If I'm successful, most of the blog entries will be relevant to both classes. If I have any blog entry specifically for a particular class (section 004 on MW and section 009 on TR) I will try to clearly state it as such. If it all becomes too complicated I'll split this into two separate blogs. We'll see how it goes.

I'm looking forward to a good semester. I hope it all goes well for us all.
