Article Review #1 Delayed

There is an article review assignment with a due date of February 1. That means I should have handed it out on class on Thursday (Jan 25). Well, truth be told, I have been unapologetically focused on a project that has a January 31 deadline. So I forgot.

I'll delay the assignment for a few weeks. Expect it soon after the first test (which remains scheduled on February 8).

I'm sorry and I'm sure you're all crying about it. Cya Tuesday.

Homework #1

I've had some inquiries about the homework. Here are a few hints:

The opportunity cost of increasing trucks is the quantity (number of bushels) of corn that are given up.

To answer the bottom question, you should carefully read pp. 22-25 in the Krugman and Wells text.

Connecting to the I-drive from off campus

If you need help connecting to the I-drive, my expertise is limited.

A few tips:

All computer labs on campus ought to be mapped to the network drives. Go to My Computer and the network drives should be listed. Click on the I drive and look for my folder (jjulian). Then look for the Econ 121 folder for stuff relevant for this class.

If you have a computer and you live on campus, you will need to "map" it yourself. You can find instructions at http://www.iup.edu/house/resnet/map/

or at http://www.iup.edu/ats/sts/login/index.htm

If you are off campus you can access the drive from the internet (ftp). Here is a link to help you out: http://www.acad.iup.edu/.
